Customers who manage their translation processes using Across technology would like to know which translators have what experience and what degree of knowledge about Across. crossPoints should give them a starting point for this.

crossPoints are awarded only "on application." You can apply for crossPoints on this page. Please note that you can apply for crossPoints for several categories and activities at once.

crossPoints will be credited retroactively for participation in training sessions that took place in 2009 and 2010. Since October 1, 2010, we've been making the number of crossPoints you have earned visible to customers and offer it as a sorting criterion on our "Freelance Translator Search" webpage.

We will register and display a maximum of 20 crossPoints per translator. That is, we assume that with 20 crossPoints, your Across expertise is sufficiently documented. We will be glad to answer any questions you might have in connection with crossPoints at crosspoints@across.net.
